Dedicated to the memory of Len Goodman

This site is a tribute to the warm, witty and wonderful Len Goodman, who passed away peacefully with his family by his side.

How we wish he was still here with us but we are so proud of what he achieved, the happiness he brought us all and the legacy he has left.

He was known to millions as the first Head Judge on Strictly Come Dancing and Dancing With The Stars but to many of us, who knew him personally, he was just “Lucky Len with the boyish grin”.

We know he has had an impact on many of you over the years as a friend, teacher, mentor and judge and so we have created this site for you to share your stories and memories of his life.

Len had four charities that were close to his heart that he had supported over the years and we hope that you would also consider making a donation, no matter how small, in his memory.

I can’t believe a whole year has passed since I lost my beloved Len. Somewhere he is dancing with the angels and hopefully partying with his much loved family embers and friends.

I really loved Len Goodman. He reminded me so much of my beloved stepfather, who also passed away. I just loved his sincerity and his warmth and his witty comments, and sometimes hysterical criticisms on dancing with the stars. I looked forward to what he had to say more than anyone else, because of his wonderful accent and intonation and just fantastic personality. He felt like a really good father, and a kind, gentle man. Something this world desperately needs more of. it was just such a better world with him in it and I cry every time I think about him, as I am now, because it just feels like such a loss, even though I didn’t know him personally. I felt as though I did. It makes me feel so much better knowing he was surrounded by true and genuine, loyal and loving family and friends. He deserved it. He was just a really neat guy. I miss you, Len. If there is a heaven, you are certainly in it, and if you are, I would really like it if you could give a hug to my beloved Rance for me. I miss him terribly. ❤️
