Oh, what can we say? Such a wonderful character who brought so much joy. Len you were so much to do many… -to my mum, who watched those first Strictly episodes with her kitchen chair pulled up to the TV like the stall seats, you were a ‘national treasure’. I think she hoped it would encourage Dad (our reluctant dancer) to take to the living room floor for a spin and sometimes it did just that. -For us, we roared with laughter when one of your jokes went over mum’s head (or better made her blush). In more recent years it’s your Sue who made us smile at dance class. She helped me share something my mum in her early years loved so much and I’m grateful you brought dance (and Sue) to our community.
